These days having a destination wedding is the new fad. There are an increasing number of people who opt for exotic locations locally as well as internationally to get married. Recently one of my cousins invited me to her wedding in Bangkok.

Upon receiving the invitation I was really excited as I hadn’t visited Bangkok earlier . Also because weddings are a great time to get together and catch up with family and relatives.

Since it was my cousins all the arrangements such as the air tickets, hotels transport were provided by the family. Luckily they had booked Gulf Air for our to and fro travel. Being familiar with the services of gulf air I was quite glad about this.

Travelling by gulf air was completely hassle free, even though we were a huge group they easily accommodated us and made our journey hassle free. Since Riyadh Bangkok Flight route is a long one, it takes almost 10 hours to reach there, it important for the seats and space to be comfortable.  Even though we were travelling in economy class, the seats and the leg room were quite comfortable. Also the entertainment facilities provided by the airline made the long journey less boring.

Weddings Are A Great Time To Connect With Family And Friends

Like any typical wedding, my cousins wedding had a lot of functions that were spread throughout the week. Even though it was a week I didn’t get much time to explore the place properly.

Over the days I was there, I just got a chance to visit and check the nearby tourist destinations. Since Bangkok is known is to be the biggest shopping destination in alias I was keen to check out the nearby shopping destinations. Out of the several places I visited I found the Chatuchak Market and Pratunam really amazing

Chatuchak Weekend Market: This market is only which is only set every weekend. The one of the biggest markets in Bangkok and has a whole variety of things to offers right from clothing to home décor items to massages etc. During my stay in Bangkok I visited this market twice, and bought a whole lot of things.

Due the bargains it offers earlier it was only open to wholesalers and bulk buyers, but in the recent years it has opened itself to retailers as well. I bought amazing pain of jeans at a really reasonable rate.

Pratunam : Another popular shopping destination in Bangkok is the Pratunam. Pratunam is a huge locality which is filled with malls, shopping centers as well as street shopping. The amazing variety one gets her is brilliant the market house all the major international brands as well as a lot of local brands. Also this is the best place in Bangkok to buy electronic gadgets and devices. I did most of my gift shopping from here itself.

Soon it was time to return back to home, I was glad that it they had booked a gulf air return flight as it is one of the most reliable airline airlines in the gulf.
